About & contact
Last updated 23 September 2026
Craterline is a free one-on-one artillery duel in your browser. Two tanks, one ridge between them, and ground that does not stay where you left it. No download, no account — pick a call sign and fire.
Contact
Email hello@craterline.net for support, press, streaming and anything else. We read everything, though a small team cannot promise a quick reply.
Found a bug or have an idea? The quickest way to reach the people fixing things is Send feedback at the bottom of the game’s main menu. It goes straight onto the list of things to look at — though it has no reply address, so use email if you want an answer.
Making a video or streaming a match? Go ahead — the Terms of Service say so — and we would love to see it.
Report abuse
If a player’s call sign is offensive, someone is using invite codes or challenge links to harass people, or you think someone is cheating or attacking the game, email hello@craterline.net with the subject Abuse report. It helps to include:
- the call sign, invite code or challenge link involved;
- roughly when it happened, with your time zone;
- what happened, and a screenshot if you have one.
Found a security problem? Please report it privately to the same address, and give us a chance to fix it before telling anyone else.
Copyright and takedown requests
The only things players can put into Craterline are a call sign, which their opponent sees during a match, and feedback, which only we see. If you believe something in Craterline infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@craterline.net with the subject Copyright notice and include:
- the work you believe is being infringed;
- where it appears in Craterline — a page address, or a call sign and when you saw it;
- your name and how to contact you;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will look into every complete notice and remove anything that should not be there.
Who it is for
Suitable for general audiences. Cartoon tanks and explosions, with no blood or gore. There is no chat, no in-game purchases and no gambling; the only thing another player can send you is a call sign, and offensive ones can be reported above. Craterline is not directed at children under 13 — see Children in the Privacy Policy.
Credits
Craterline’s design, code and artwork are its own. Every tank, crater and explosion is drawn in code, the text uses your device’s own fonts, and the game plays in silence — so there are no third-party images, fonts or sounds to credit.
The game’s connection to its server uses one open-source library, which we are glad to acknowledge:
